Roadmap
Brasa stays on 0.x versions while the project format and the API can still change. 1.0 marks stability. This roadmap shows the order of the plans, with no dates.
- 0.1

- Project hub with the Pixel identity
- Projects in real folders, organized your own way

- Resources in a tree, with multiple selection and a recycle bin
- Sprite editor: slice frames, origin and collision

Games without fighting the code
ReleasedTune values in the editor, use keyboard and gamepad with the same code and keep data between levels.
- Variables in the editor, with their own value on each instance
- Objects with .hpp and .cpp that see each other with no #include, and objects without code
- Input actions and gamepad support
- Platformer helpers: gravity in the Inspector, collision mask, floor and walls
- Persistent objects and global objects, in every room
- A more compact editor interface, laid out as a grid (0.2.1)
- 0.3
Layers and tilemap
ReleasedBuild the scenery by painting with blocks, in layers like in GameMaker.
- Layers in the room: Instances, Background, Sprites and Tiles
- Background with an image and parallax from the code
- Tileset with per-tile collision and a palette to paint with
- Brush, eraser, bucket and terrain brush

Export
ReleasedTurn your project into a game to send to your friends.

- A zip ready to send, from the editor or from the command line
- Editor reorganized on the inside, ready for new features
- 0.5
Game interface
ReleasedBuild menus, HUD and screens in the editor, and drive them from code.
- Text, buttons, bars, images and panels placed on screen with the mouse
- Anchors so the interface follows the resolution
- The code decides what happens: a button click, the text of the score
- Lists (shop, inventory): the panel arranges the items and the code copies a template
- Project fonts (.ttf) and text with accents
- Camera zoom, for pixel art at high resolution
- New template: Zumbis (shooting, shop and HUD)
- 0.6
Game inside the editor
ReleasedPress Play and watch the game run in a panel of the editor itself.

- Interface: scrolling in lists and mouse events
